HEIDELBERG
ABODE OF PEACE
Pujaloy is an abode of peace and meditation. It is situated on the southern slope of the Neckar River, around 5 km from the centre of Heidelberg. Pujaloy offers a place where people from all countries, cultures, religions and spiritual paths can meditate and experience a deep sense of inner peace and joy. Meditation also has the health benefits of strengthening the body and mind.
Meditation
The creation of Pujaloy was inspired by the spiritual teacher Sri Chinmoy (1931 – 2007), who visited the building in September 2005. In the centre of Pujaloy is a black and white photograph of Sri Chinmoy in deep meditation. His consciousness immerses us in deeper and more fulfilling meditation. Each participant in the open sessions being offered is invited to practise seated meditation in their own individual way.
Participation in these silent group meditations is free of charge, in keeping with true yoga tradition.
OPENING HOURS
Pujaloy is currently open for meditation on various Saturdays from 6pm to 7pm and on various Sundays from 9am to 10am, as well as on request. A meditation session lasts half an hour, the end of which is announced with a gong.
“I feel here great vibes of energy. The atmosphere during meditation was more than perfect. For the future,
I wish that many people come from Germany and all over the world to experience what I experienced.”
– Dr. Gautam Sharma, Ayurveda doctor
